javascript:void() does not open the submenu

javascript:void() does not open the submenu was created by Thunnes

Hello,

i'm working on a new template for a website. As menu module I choosed Accordeon Menu CK. First: I'm very thanksful for having such a great module for the website.

But also I have a problem with the menu. The submenu won't open if I click on the Link. In the options of the module I checked Image only for opening the submenu. (In the css the plus and minus images are on "display: none". But I think the submenus with "javascript: void()" will open even without the plus and minus pictures.

Here is the link of the website (e.g. on the left the point "Pfarrnachrichten")

I hope you can help me, Thanks! (And sorry for my very bad english)

Hi

I'm very thanksful for having such a great module for the website.

thank you :)

if you set "image only" and hide the image, then it will not work :)
set the option "link and image" and try, as you want to keep the novoid

I tried that too, but the problem is that some menu points are neccesary for showing content and are not only headline for a submenu...
So I thought with image only and the javascript command the submenu will be opened

only the parents will be affected if you use "image and link"
adding the javascript void does not do anything in fact, the module adds it to void the redirecting if necessary

Hmm... but something didn't work as I expected it

This is the link of the website with the current template (menu module by yootheme)
and this the link of the new template with accordeon menu ck.

Please take a look at the menu point "Messdiener/innen" on the old menu I can click on it and it shows me the content which is related to the category and I can see the submenu point "Messdienerplan"
With the Accordeon Menu Module on the new Template it only opens the submenu with the point "Messdienerplan". But I can never see the content of the category "Messdiener/innen" like on the current template...

yes, this is the native joomla menu behavior :), this is not an accordeon
when you use an accordion, you want the submenu to be shown without reloading the page :)
