Submenu items of type menu alias

I have accordeonck ver. 1.9.8 installed in a Joomla 2.5.27 site. Home menu item has submenu items of type alias. When on a page with an active submenu is active, the parent remains closed, i.e. I have to click the plus sign to see the branch and the current active highlighted.
What do I need for the menu to be open in such a situation?

I think that this can be due to the alias type. Try with a native joomla menu module to see if the parent item gets the "parent" class or not

It gets the "parent" class both with standard Joomla and AccordionCK.

my bad, it is not the "parent" class but the "active" class that gives the focus to the element.
