Partially Filled in Menu Header

The 2nd level headers and beyond are not filled in completely. The area before the bullet does not color, instead it takes on the overall background. So you have a menu header that is partially filled in. I am new to Joomla, please help.

this is normal because you have a padding that creates margin on the left of the element
you must set the margin/padding to 0 in the css file of the module on "ul"
