I think that you have selected a category that has some articles but no subcategories
for example
- root category
-- cat 1
--- article 1
--- article 2
-- cat 2
--- article 3

then in the menu you will get the cat1 + cat 2 as parent item and the article in a submenu that you can open / close

Only the heading should be displayed on the first level and when unfolding the whole further text. I only want to use the arccordion in one module. Is that not possible.
Also I do not understand how I can create a subcategory in arccordionCK.

Accordion Menu CK , as its name says, is a menu. This is not a content accordion
it will list the categories and articles so that you can click on the links to go to the content

I think that you are looking for an accordion that will list the articles titles and show the article content under it. It will not do that
