VirtueMart Categories
Hi,
I just upgraded The Accordeon Menu from (I think) 3.1.7 to the current 3.2.2 (on J4 with the VirtueMart Release Candidate from 05.02.). Now all the subcategories are always extended. Before the upgrade it was working as expected (i.e. the subcategories where hidden and could be extended, etc.)
The subcategories from the regular Joomla Menu still work as expected, it's only those from VM - Category modul that do not.
I could not find any new obvious new settings connected, is this a bug or am I missing something?

Since it's a development/test site anyway I can also create an admin account for you if needed.

just to understand : you have added a VM module in the menu item 260
if you want this module to be hidden in a submenu, you must create a parent item and put this item 260 under it
then the module will reveal when opening the submenu
else you can try to use a menu type Accordeon Menu CK - Virtuemart (in the menu manager >> new) as submenu instead of the module loading

Thanks, but that's not the problem I don't want the entire module to be hidden I want the subcategories to be hidden, for example:
Titel A-Z is a main categorie and should be shown, however Neuerscheinungen, Ankündigung, Gesamtverzeichnis are subcategoreis of it and should be hidden.

Ok I see
but .. here you are loading a VM module. If this module does not show as you want, I can not do anything for that. You shall ask the VM developper why this module does not behave like an accordion module
I suggest you to try this
www.joomlack.fr/en/documentation/maximen...u-from-other-sources
you can see that you can create a submenu loading a 3rd party source, like VM categories

I give you as example the doc from Maximenu CK (not yet written the same for Accordeon Menu CK)else you can try to use a menu type Accordeon Menu CK - Virtuemart (in the menu manager >> new) as submenu instead of the module loading
