Login Module - Accordian Effect (Solved)

Hi,

Can you please provide an update on how to add a Login Module to an AccordeonMenu CK on a Joomla 3.10 site.

I searched this forum and found some useful tips (below) on how to add this module, and how get the accordian effect.

1 - publish the module in a non existing position like "foobar" then it will not be displayed in the template
2 - you must use the option "target element" on image only

1 - create a submenu link as a separator item type
2 - in the menu link title, write this: [modid=173]
3 - save

I followed this advice but unfortunately this does not work for me. I get the Login module displayed, but without the accordian effect.

In particular I could not find where to set the option for the "target element as an image" in the Joomla 3.10 settings or the AccodeonMenu CK parameters.

I can provide admin access if needed.

Hi,

Answering my own query. Hope it helps others.

The key is "create a submenu" to another separator root item

1 - created a root menu item - "Member Login" - of type Separator
2 - created a submenu to above menu item - "Login" - of type Separator
3 - On the submenu go to the tab Accordeon Menu CK Params - Module Loading - section
4 - Select "Yes" Load a Module, select your "Login Module" from the dropdown list
5 - Save
