Error opening template on local machine

Hello ,

I've built a site using TCK v.3 : www.associazionesoffiodivita.com

Recently, I have to make changes to the skin site .
I made a backup of the site and the db in order to operate locally with easyphp.

To change the template i do the following steps : components = > Template Creator CK then i select the template that i want to edit and I access through user name and password .

after the access I get the following error:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

php_network_getaddresses : getaddrinfo failed: Unknown host . [ 2002 ]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page . Please contact an administrator if this problem persists .


However, if you are logged on the online site it works correctly .

I do not understand what i'm doing wrong.

Hi
I think that your problem is related to your backup and local copy
I would suggest to make it again (use Akeebabackup to help you)
You must change the settings of your website to point your local machine

Anyway I don't think that this is related to template creator

Thank you for your reply .

I did like you suggested , i made a online backup with akeeba , then i did restore on local machine with akeeba kickstart .

Whole site works good , but when i try to edit my custom template i'm still having the same error .

if you have an active membership "with support", contact me per email with the gabarit of your template (template creator >> liist of templates >> export)

the sql error should have nothing to do with the template...

I've solved the issue , it was related phpbb configurazion.
