Modules not showing in mobile version

Hi,
I have created some special module positions to be shown in the mobile version but when I view it on a mobile the modules are not there. The same is the case with the module 'nav'.
Any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong?

This is my development site so not very exciting - just learning to use the template creator.

check in the responsive design options in template creator, that you have not set the module to be hidden

I should have said that I had checked that first up.
I even then added the modules to a position that is part of the default responsive design (left) and they are still not showing.
Is there documentation about template create=or? I have read the 24 page document but would like a bit more detail. I do not speak French.

are you sure that the problem is into template creator and not into your modules settings ? Are they correclty published and assigned to all pages ?

everything seems to be working as it should.
1) 5 modules positions (buttons-x) created & set to show in the mobile friendly position.
2) 5 modules created and allocated to the new positions; published but do not show on desktop OR mobile version.
3) 5 modules copied and allocated to a default position on the template (left); published but do not show on desktop OR mobile version.
4) 5 modules allocated to module position -7 (default) and they are showing here.
I have saved and installed the template.
I am obviously missing something critical here and would love your suggestions.

in the left column you have 5 custom modules loaded as shown by my side
for "buttons" you have set in the responsive mode to hide it, that is why you don't see them

is this really a "position" and not just the name of the block ? the left block has the position-7
