How to create a border around individual articles

I've been trying to find the option in the template creator to set a border vor individual articles. Somehow this is not possible.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

you must use the custom.css file (see the help video) to add your own CSS to do that

I'm quite new to this... I know how to create a custom CSS file. But I haven't got the faintest idea what to put in there for those borders.

Could you tell me what to put in there so I have something to start with?
