bootstrap.css not calling icons it seems

on the login input fields, there are no icons for username and password being inserted.
Using template creator latest version and latest joomla.
No other extensions installed on the site other than JCE

by my side I see the icons

Which browser? I cannot see icons in Opera, Chrome, Forefox or IE.
OK. a lot of it was my monitor settings. Light grey icons on a white background. Any way of changing the color? The bootstrap makes them too close to distinguish unless your monitor calibration is perfect...
