Multiple page/wrapper backgrounds

Would it be possible to add the ability to use multiple page and wrapper backgrounds?
2 for each would be good, 3 would be better:
example:
a top image, a bottom image and a repeating background behind them

Currently, the only way to do this is using custom CSS and when you copy to an installed template, it does not copy any extra images specified in the custom css box, or the custom.css file

Hi

to do this is using custom CSS and when you copy to an installed template, it does not copy any extra images specified in the custom css box, or the custom.css file

that's right !

I won't do it for now, because it will add some complex html code just for you ;)
but you can use the css sprite with only one image, then it will be copied and your problem will be solved

hmmmm... would that work correctly since there is no option when inserting the image to specify the sprite section to be used for the first background image?
Also, sprites are more for multiple elements using parts of the one image for their background, not for multiple backgrounds on the one element - I actually have no idea how to convert something like:
Code:
body { background-image: url(XXXX/XX.jpg) center top no-repeat, url(XXXX/YY.jpg) center bottom no-repeat; background-size: 100%, 100%; }

into using a sprite - specifically if the 2 portions of the sprite were 2 different sizes :(

An alternate way of using several backgrounds may be to use the second and third images for something else, and then put 'background-image: none;' into the custom css box in order to overwrite the use of the image (but it would still be included in the template files)

the idea is to have only one image with the 3 parts to use inside
then you can call this image as main background on the wrapper css styles and the image will be added
then you can use :before and :after into your custom css to create virtual blocks
