Up until now I have upgrade a lot of sites from J2 to J3 without template issues. Still it would be nice to know what the difference is between the J2 and the J3 version you create with the template creator, so I might adjust the already finished ones by hand.
My focus is on frontend mainly.

Hi
not sure to understand, you can not upgrade from template creator v2 to v3, but the finished template made with the v2 should also work into joomla 3.
If you want to do a template with template creator 3 you shall start it from scratch into this version

Sorry if I was unclear. No of course I am using your v3 since the early beta;s. Its not about that.

I have create dozens of templates, some with TCK2 and some with TCK3 but I am talking about the finished product. Should I change anything in the index.php file when upgrading those sites to J3.

I have now hit the first site that does not load after an upgrade. I think it was created with TC2.

if you have made a template for joomla 2.5 it should also work on joomla 3
are you sure that the template is in cause ?

Yes found the issue, modals interfering modules/plugin and some more trouble :-)

I was just curious, because you know it all inside out. It's good to know I don't need to change much as proved by all the ones that worked in one go.

Thanks for your time.
