Hide Joomla Generator Tag

Hi,

Because of security features (hacks)I want to hide the Joomla Generator Tag
"<meta name="generator" content="Joomla! - Open Source Content Management" />"
from my templates.
Normally you can do it by inserting the following code to the index.php of your template:

'<?php
$this->setGenerator(null);
?>'


Is there any option to hide the meta tag from within the TC ?
(may be a Feature for the next Version )

I think I would add something like a textarea in the admin, then it would be possible. I note this to my todolist
