Going back to Template creator for mods
Hello,
After creating my template via Template Creator CK 3.0.14, I made many manual changes in the template.css custom.css mobile.css and some minor changes in bootstrap.css.
Now after several weeks working on the live template, I want to return to Template Creator to make changes in the responsive layouts.
However I want to make sure that my custom.css, template.css and bootstrap.css etc changes aren't lost when I load and re-save my modified template via Template Creator CK.
Would I be correct in copying over these files, which are currently located at /templates/MYTEMPLATENAME/css
template.css
mobile.css
default.css
fonts.css
bootstrap.css
to the following folders:
/components/com_templateck/projects/MYPROJECTNAME/css
template.css
mobile.css
default.css
/components/com_templateck/assets
bootstrap.css
Not sure if I need to copy fonts.css anywhere. I didn't make any direct changes in fonts.css
Should custom.css be copied anywhere to make sure it is not copied over with a blank custom.css file? Or should I simply just download custom.css to my desktop and re-copy it up to my template folder after I do any Template Creator modifications. And while I think about it, do the same for bootstrap.css???
I am asking this, because as I said I made modifications in those css files and don't want to lose my modificaitons when I re-load the same template into Template Creator CK and save the modified template.
Thanks!

Hi
you should only write your own css in the file "custom.css" that is located in
/components/com_templateck/projects/MYPROJECTNAME/css
then it will not be overridden, all other files will be deleted and recreated by template creator.

Thanks for that info.
Can I use custom.css to "overrule" what is in bootstrap.css too?
