Intro Image not displayed

I use an intro image in an article. It is displayed with the joomla standard template beez3, however does not appear with a template created by template creator. pics are attached. What did I miss?

so the problem comes not from your template.
where are you setting this image ? in the article options itself ?

hm, strange - isn't it?

The image can be choosen directly underneath the editor area in the "Article Details" There are 2 input areas: "intro image" and "full article image". I just want use the intro image which I used to put directly in the text in the former joomla versions.

the intro image is used when the readmore is active, try to use instead the "full article image"
