New position within a block

Hi,
I bought Template Creator few days ago so I still explore the environment. Is there any way to create a new position within a block?
When I create a new module, apparently a new position is created but I want to have it inside the 'mainbanner' on the right of the module with ID=banner (position-0) so that all the CSS of the 'mainbanner' (e.g. background) apply to the new module.

creating blocks inside blocks is not possible, because it would not be a consistent result (not possible to manage all possibilities)
but you can set the background you want to the exising module Banner, or Mainbanner
