Gradient bug?

for info the gradient is part of the background image property
www.w3.org/TR/css-images-3/#linear-gradients
if you use only "background", this is a shortcut. It works but is not the most accurate way to do

for the "center top", this is the old notation used years ago when the linear gradient appears
I will check again the notation for the gradient, to make it more up to date

thank you for reporting it

Hi,
It still creates the "background-image:" code instead of "background:". As soon as I remove the "-image" part, the Gradient will display correctly.

You can test this with the Search button by removing the "-image" CSS part. testsite.xxxx.com

ok I see
in fact it works :)
the situation is that the values in the gradient are transparent, 10% opacity, then the color is behind it and it creates 2 layers
you can verify by changing the opacity to 100% and I have used a red color to see it clearly

Now I have to check if I change this behavior or not ... because this is implemented since years
