TC New version was not noticed

Hi CEd,
in TC page release notes shows 28/09/22 : Version 5.2.4

today 15/10/22
J4 --> Components --> Template Creator --> About --> New version was not noticed
my About showed "You are using current version: 5.2.3

I downloaded and installed the version 5.2.4 --> About now showing: "You are using current version: 5.2.4

today 04/11/22
J4 --> Components --> Template Creator --> About --> New version was not noticed
my About showed "You are using current version: 5.2.6

I downloaded and installed the version 5.2.7 --> About now showing: "You are using current version: 5.2.7"

when i look at the xml file in the update sources, i see the correct version number, 5.2.7.
TC About shows version 5.2.6: You are using the current version...

How does the TC About page know which version is current, or why doesn't it know?

The behaviour of the PBCK, for example, is as it should be.
