Footer and Header page width

Hi there,

Using Demo Version of Template Creator 2.05 and Joomla 2.5
When I try to make a footer and use a background image and enter x: center y: bottom

The footer looks fine in the editor...but when I make a preview then the footer floats halfway my screen! See
Footer is halfway on my screen.png (sorry but I can't upload this file ...it says it's bigger than 203000bytes, but it is just 77kb!


Am I doing something wrong here? I tried everything and I am about to pull my hair out:S

Ps. I would like to make the wrapper "fluid"
and not fixed....how can I achieve this?

I don't know what happen on your footer, try using firebug to help you finding the issue

After investigating the issue a bit further:

X: center Y: bottom<--- this does NOT force the image to move to the bottom.

I thank you very much for replying and helping...but could you give me some help in the right direction?--->

1. could you check if this is indeed a bug in the demo version?
2. What's the best way to make a footer fixed to the bottom of the webpage?

Looking with firebug on this forum...I guess that the only solution s to make the footer the same color as the background of the general page....

The issue would be resolved IF Y:bottom would work!

Am I correct?

PS: Any chance that this 'Fluid" function will come in future versions of Template Creator?

ok, so I will test the issue with "bottom", thanks for your tests

for now I have not planned to add the feature for flexible layout because it needs a big change.
