Positions in Joomla
Hello Forum,
in one of my projects I only can see the following positions:
position 7 (left side - menue)
position 0 (??? never seen bevore - called "block 1" at the bottom of thr page)
position 3 (footer)
But I can't see a position for the main-area. If I use "actions --> print positions" the main area don't have one...
Now I have to integrate a modul in the main area and have to chose a position... - see attachment
Can anyone help me?
Thanks - Boory

Hi
check in the toolbar on mouseover, you have a white field and a black field, they are the ID and module position
you can add some modules around it :

I think that there is a confusion between "ID" and "module position"position 0 (??? never seen bevore - called "block 1" at the bottom of thr page)

that is right, this is the component part loaded by joomla depending on which page you are. This is not a module positionI can't see a position for the main-area

Hello CEd,
thanks for the quick answer! I think you are right. That's a confusion of me...
I'll try the installatiom of the module again.
