Content not running full width

I'm sure I've made some totally noob mistake, but I can't get this to work.
I am redesigning the front page on my site - www.citruskiwi.com - and want just the front page to be full width. So I copied the template and changed the page width (under page parameters) to 100%, and made the content area full width. I assigned the template to the one new page I'm building (just dummy text there right now) at www.citruskiwi.com/home2 . But no full width on the content.

the template loaded on www.citruskiwi.com/home2 is "ck2017" and the page width is set on 1200px
you have not loaded the correct template, or you may have a cache on the site that you need to clear

That's how it's behaving, yeah, but, in fact, I have the new template correctly assigned to that page.

if I understand the problem is really the template assignment ? if yes, then this is not related to template creator, this is totally managed by joomla
please try with another template and another menu item, to check if it works and try to find where is the problem

Yes it does seem liek it now. I didn't have any of the default templates installed, but just added back Beez3 and the same issue is happening. Think the site has gotten corrupted at some point during many updates and upgrades.

ok, you can also try to disable the additional plugins and see if the problem is fixed
if yes, then it might be a plugin in cause
