Strange outline around slider

I'm revamping a client site and he wants an image slider for products. You can see the mockup here -

If you click the left/right arrows, or click directly above them (but within the slider area) there are strange blue boxes around either the arrows or the entire slider.
I thought it must be the slider itself so wrote to the developer of it. He blamed the template (this is precidely why I use your Template Creator and Page Builder - I hate getting this sort of response). Can you please confirm my suspicions that it is, in fact, the slider's problem.

No still there Ced. I have tried in Chrome and Opera - showing on both (see screenshot). Looks liek the boxes that appear around items when editing in TC.

Click on the accordions. There's a blue outline after you've clicked on one, but it disappears if you click in the content area.

tried in Chrome,this is the default focus state in the browser ... nothing special. It does not appear in Firefox
