Annoying default colour for input box text... was created by bcraigie
Hi Cedric,
When I use TemplateCreatorCK to make a new template, the default colour of the input box text and drop-down selector boxes is #bebebe which makes people think these items are "greyed out" and some people with eyesight problems cannot read the faint text.
Is there a way that I can change the default text colour for input boxes and list boxes so that when I create a new template, this colour is simply black (#000000) ?
This is found at: Buttons and Forms -> Form Fields -> Input Fields Normal State -> Text
Often I forget to change this text colour from the default - it is annoying to have to remember to change every time I create a new template. Is there a master template where these defaults come from when I create a new template?
Thanks
Brian

Hi
yes this comes from the default template, when you create a new template it asks you if you want to apply the default theme, if you say "no" then you will get a totally blank template

Strange. I have never been asked if I want to apply the default template. The only question I get asked is how many modules I would like. I almost always choose the one with the most positions.
I will have another look.
Honestly speaking though, why would anyone want such a light and nearly unreadable text colour against a white background anyway? Wouldn't it be more sensible to make this default colour black?
Warmest regards,
Brian

the color and feeling is different for each one
Check after selecting the base model (number of modules), it creates the layout and prompt you
