Create a button with a popup to an external embed page after clicking

I created a button with Page Builder CK.
When the website visitor clicks on that button, a popup should be shown containing a sales page from an external website.
I have the embed code and if I place it in a Joomla article as a link it works fine and the popup appears.

But the code contains not only the link but also script code and CSS.
I can't paste that in its entirety into the Link field of the button.
Because then I get to see a Joomla error.

Does anyone know how I can put the embed code for that popup in the settings of the button in Page Builder CK?

if the Button addon is not what you need, then you can use the Code addon where you can paste the whole button code

But is it possible that I can find the formatting code of the button that I have already created with PB somewhere so that I can use it to paste it into the code field?
Or does it mean that I have to create a button myself with CSS and HTML and not place it in the code field?

you can not get the styles of the button when using the custom code addon
you must use a css class managed in your page/template

It involves code to show a popup from an external website. But I have now solved it by using the Code field as you advised.
I used Developer Tools in Firefox to find the CSS code of the button I created with PB.
Then put that code in custom.css of the template.
And put the class for the button in the code.
Now the button is shown and after clicking the pop-up opens.
So my question has been resolved.
