On my Droid phone and my desktop, the video on the home page plays the sound, but my iPad does not. I think I remember you mentioning something about the codec used to create the video prior to uploading to YouTube, but can't find that email/post anymore. Am I right?

A good landing is one you can walk away from.
A great landing is one where you can reuse the aircraft!

Hi
sorry but I'm not aware about such problem of codec
please try to open your video directly from its url in your ipad
Page Builder CK does nothing more than showing your video file
CEd

OK, I figured it out. When I get videos from clients (to host on their sites rather than streaming off YouTube) they're usually enormous. I use a site
compress-video-online.com/
for compressing them. There's an audio output setting for the encoder to use - MP3 or AAC. If I do it as MP3, the sound will not play on Apple (because, of course, AAC is an Apple encoder and they're some darn precious about their own stuff!). Droid is happy either way.
On a side note regarding videos, the video player module in PageBuilderCK has 16:9 or 4:3. Can we get the reverse as well - 9:16 and 3:4 for portrait-shot videos? Right now, using either of those letterboxes the display. Or did I just miss how to do it?

you can check the behavior, when you click on the 16:9 or 4:3, it automatically fills the height and width values
you can enter your own values in these fields to make the video have any proportion/dimensions
