From frontend as you see
there is no read more just a line

if you use a readmore in a normal article, does it work ?

this is clearly a problem on your website if it does not work with the native articles

I am having the same problem. I just don't understand the instructions on how to use the 'Read More' element. (maybe a video Ced).

A workaround that I used was to create a separate standard Joomla Article for the 2nd half and put a link to it after the intro text.

It would be perfect if I could work out how to put a border & background on it, but this is a limitation of the editor. Maybe, use a table? I'll have another look at it
