that is right, this does not work. I don't maintain these classes anymore, this is the problem

try to replace this file
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8539690/imageeffectck.css

into plugins/system/imageeffectck/assets
and see if it works (for the puffck effect only)

for this you must use your own css with mediaqueries and change the font-size on
figure.imageeffectck figcaption

may be totally hide it on small screens because it becomes very small ...
