Ruler above menu item

In Maximenu CK there is a white ruler above the menu item that follows the hover actions on the menu items.
In Maximenu CK Params I cannot find (or I am looking at the wrong places) any settings for this ruler (disable it / set color / height / width / ...).
How can I manage this ruler?

So go in the maximenu module options >> fancy effect >> set it to NO
