Maximenu params is a commercial product, you must download it on joomlack.fr and install it over the existing version to update

Within my Joomla Control Panel under the Maintenance heading I was notified Updates are available! 4
In Extension Manager: Update I clicked Find Updates and four were found.
I selected all four and clicked Update.
They all installed except for Maximenu CK Params Update 4.0.4

I'm confused. Is this not the correct procedure?

yes for free products that is ok, but this system does not allow easily to connect with a membership, so as this is a commercial product you can't download and install automatically

I have subscribed to the product. Are all the updates free? The only way to download it that I can find is to order and pay again.

yes the subscription allows you to download the updates for 6 months for free
