Hi Mr CK

A while ago I encountered a problem and it was discussed here :
MaxiMenu-vs-iProperty

I create an 'Advanced Search' menu item provided by the property extension, which incorporates sliders, drop downs and a map...

It didn't work, until now...

The conflict occurs when I select in the MaxiMenu Module's Mobile Tab.
When set to 'NO', all is good and everything works fine, but when set to 'YES' all hell breaks loose (well, not that bad!)

Soooooo, I have got a test site up which can demonstrate the issue.

For example:

So long as a maximenu module is 'Enable for Mobile: YES', the Advanced Search page will not work, even if the maximenu module is not assigned to that page (I think that sentence makes sense?)

Hope that is clear, I can give you access to the site if you like.

PS Iwrite this purely to help make an excellent product even better :) )

Hi Mr CK

I am now 99% sure that it is my template and the weay the files are being loaded in to it.

Protostar is fine, my template is not. Pretty annoyed about that.

Anyway, I sent you the details but I wouldn't want you to waste any time over it, I just need to find out how the two templates differ...

Thanks

Jon

I have not received the ftp details and I see that the mobile plugin is no more active on your test website. For information I will have less time during christmas holiday :)

Salut M. CEd

Jon

Hi Mr CEd

I thought I would update you regarding this topic:
iProperty extension conflict with MaxiMenu Mobile Plugin

To recap:
There seemed to be a conflict with the property program when mobile option was enabled in maximenu.

I thought the 'issue' must lie with either maximenu or iProperty. Also, the issue only disappeared when I used a Rockettheme template.

The issue turned out to be in Joomla itself

I updated to the latest version (joomla 3.2.3) and there are no conflicts, everyone is playing nicely together.

Just thought I'd let you know

Jon
