MM redirection problem

I noticed that the MM menu where I have the above happening has 3 MM drop downs :

1 - VM categories such as on p23 of the documentation
2 - Links (home - contact - FAQ, etc infos from VM) as a flatlist
3 - "our stores" (different locations) as a flatlist

Now...
What's strange is that the pb only occures on the links flatlist (2), if I go to the "our stores" (3) - it goes to the right page and that one gives the correct links on MM.

I guess this is a track to follow...

So, it comes down to the fact that it is the drop down 2 (see above) that's messing up the whole thing. For some reasons that I ignore, the "link type" (very first selection on the creation of a menu link) acts strange when it comes to Virtuemart elements. The menu links that lead to VirtueMart elements - instead of "show articles" or so for example with joomla - make the problem. aka urls are good on the index page but are messed up on following page as above.

Well, now, if anybody knows enough VM2, there's got to be a solution, gonna try to post the pb on VM forum without much of a hope of answer bu one never knows.

In the meantime, any help / insight will be welcome.
