Problem with submenus & safari

hello there!

I'm having some issues with the menu. It works perfect in every other sense, but there's a problem with submenus when using safari. Whne hovering an item with submenu, the whole menu flashes, but I don't know why, as it works perfecto in the demo page of this website. Can you guys take a look?

Also, when using it on iphone, the names of the items in submenu dissappear :blink:

I asked the slider developers and they told me the problem might be in the menu..but I don't know. I can't figure out what the problem is and how to solve it.

I'm worried boecause this is the menu I always use (including the mobile plugin), and I recently purchased the slider and I would like to use both things on more websites from now on.

It would be great if you can help me. Thanks a lot in advance!

does the menu works if you disable the slider ?

Yes, it does, and can't find out why. I asked them and all they have said by now is it might be a problem with the menu as it is the menu what works wrong, I'm not that sure but I don't know what to do

if you want my point of view : change the slider
every developper will give you the same answer.
have you tried my module slideshow CK to see if it could be a solution for you ?
I think that the problem of the slider is that it is flash based, and this causes some known issues in Safari (the issues are known, but not the solution )
check that the wmode is set to opaque or transparent
