Hikashop plugin
Hi there, I am having problems using this module/ (hikashop) plugin.
I have a Hikashop category list which contains the Product Category, then about 20 brands under it and each containing some categories and even some sub categories. Total depth is 4 levels.
I only would like to list these categories with a horizontally sliding menu.
Could you please outline how I should proceed, because I find the documentation rather confusing.
I have tested the module without the plugin, and then it seemed to work, but as long as the plugin file (helper_hikashop.php) is in the module folder, nothing seems to work (I can´t even get it to display the module title).
Thi is a fresh install of J 2.5
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi again. Thank you for getting back to me.
What can I say, nothing works..
I thought this was because I had a malfunction in the categories listing in Hikashop, but I reinstalled everything to test and this is not the case.
I have seen the video before, and from what I can tell, the only difference is that I do not have the parameter plugin installed. Is it essential to get it working?
If it is not much trouble, could you let me know the steps to accomplish my goal?
I have installed the module and tested it without the hikashop plugin, and then it works.
Afterwards, I have Installed the hikashop plugin (and enabled it) and added the helper file in the module directory.
In the module settings,I have set
Menu to render : Hikashop default menus
Third party extension: Hikashop
What else needs to be done?

Turns out this was caused by Hikashop, not by your module.
Thank you for your help regardless.
