Virtuemart flatlist submenu not in column on hover

Dear developpers,

For my website I need to combine the maximenu with the third party extension, virtuemart2. To explain my problem I have attached 2 screenshots of my menu

in Screenshot1 I have clicked on te menutap named "Over Kritis".

The problem comes when I hover over to my virtuemart menu named "Webshop". If I keep hovering over this "Webshop" menu and don't click on it, the submenu is not showing in the flatlist collumn container.

As you can see in Screenshot2 when I do click on the "Webshop" menu button, the submenu is showing in the flatlist container under the webshop menu.

I've tried about everything and I can't come up with any solution for this.

It would be great to recieve any support in this!
