Maximenu and IE

On internet explorer 9, Maximenu dont look like on another browsers, background dont have gradient and font is "distorted"?
Is there any way to solve this

the font is "distorted" ? I have never seen this. For the gradient you can support it in IE9 by adding a svg file as background .By default the preinstalled theme does not do it, but the gradient with the plugin params does it
