Menu layout error- Solved

I have been using Maximenuck for some time and have found it extremely easy to use. Unfortunately in the last 3 weeks I have been having some trouble getting the menu to render correctly.

Joomla 5.5.9, maximenu 6.1.17_j25, php 5.2.17

The only recent changes to the website have been to use the [cols2] function in maxi menu, and upgrade to joomla 5.5.9.

I have searched the forum and google with no luck. I have restored a backup (which did render correctly when setup on localhost on my computer -ubuntu).Unfortunately when I restored the backup to www.allagesphysio.com.au/jupgrade/ the same problem is occurring.

On checking further, it renders correctly if I log in as a registered user so I am thinking that it is a permissions issue. Checking in the module I have access set to "public".

I did also notice that configuration.php is unwritable, so I will chase this up.

Fixed permissions, cleared site and browser cache, reapplied access to public.

No change to menu

try to unpublish all items in the menu. Publish them one by one to see how it works. I think you have a problem on the root items, try to recreate a new menu item if needed to test

One of the [cols] text seperators was marked as registered, rather than public.

Works as expected now.
