Spacing between columns in Maximenu

Spacing between columns in Maximenu was created by Bruce27

I am using the columns functionality of Maximenu to arrange my submenus. I have two  columns at the top and one underneath. There is no difficulty following the instructions to get this arrangement, but I would like to put some space between the columns. I have been able to do this by adding a margin to the right hand column using CSS, but then, when the columns are displayed underneath each other (as for the mobile width) they are not aligned properly.

Is there a better way of doing this?

Any help would be appreciated!

Best regards
Bruce

I'm looking at your website and it seems good
I see a 20p margin between the columns. The layout is like that
- 500px width for the submenu
- 2 columns of 240px (480px total)
- 1 margin 20px between the columns

is that right ?

Yes, that is correct. I am controlling the margin with CSS, but I wondered if Maximenu has a way of controlling this without resorting to CSS.
