ok I see it now
btu as you managed to change the other settings you can change the font size and paddings in the styling interface
what is exactly the problem ?

I change "Title style" to 50px and nothing changes on the front end.

change the root items from "heading" type to "separator", this shall fix it

OK, I went to a main menu item in Joomla, "AKC Events" in the "Events" menu. I checked all of the maximenu tabs and can't find where to change this.

this is in the menu, not in Maximenu CK
go in your joomla admin >> menu manager >> go in the desired menu and edit the menu item
then change the menu item type
this is into the Joomla core
