Maximenu CK shows menu items on mobile screens

Hi All,

My Maximenu CK keeps showing the menu items on mobile screens, although they don't work properly until you fold out the menu.
I upgraded to the last version of Joomla through the console and I have a feeling that it started to behave like this after that. I did find out later on, so I am not really sure.
I tried several settings, but without luck

When maximized it is OK, but on the smaller sizes it's acting weird.

I hope someone can help me out here.

by my side I see that you have a mobile button that is managed into your template. Not sure if you want to remove this button, or what you really want to do

It worked normally before the update, but if I can fully remove this menu button and replace it with the hamburger menu only that would be nice.
At the moment if I select the hamburger menu from the options, the original menu "button" doesn't go away and the hamburger menu is placed underneath the original, so that's why I didn't use it in the first place and had the original template menu style.

But at the moment, the menu items are displayed at all times and not on hover or click when going to the smaller sizes

for me the mobile button that you are using is managed by your template and has nothing to do with maximenu
