Transition duration time not working as expected

Hi there,

first of all - great module! like it a lot!

One thing which i just can't get to work is the following setting:

Animation Effect: simpleFade
Display time: 500 ms
Transition duration: 5000 ms

The duration time is always something like 1 second and the image stays longer than the expected half second.

is there a limitation that the transition can't be that long?

Or is there something i'm doing wrong or missing ?

(The time value for each slide in the slides manager is empty)

the duration are correct. But you should better set
Display time: 5000 ms
Transition duration: 500 ms

because a long transition makes you believe that the image is still showing but the transition as already started, you just don't see it immediately. You see what I mean ?

So you say - the transition itself takes the 5 seconds but i just see the last few percent of the actual transition happen?

So it's a css/js opacitiy thing ?

That's sad - i thought it would be a nice effect to have the images fading slowly in to the next one without a visual pause where you just see one image...
You know what i mean - more like an ongoing "movie" not a few pictures with a short fade in between.

yes I see, you can try to set the time to 0 and have a 1000 duration for the transition and see how it renders.
