if you are under joomla 2.5, try with the template beez_20 and the plugin "jquery easy"
if you are on joomla 3 try with the template protostar

i try it with protostar and it works but it doesnt work with my template for some reason

I can't help you more as your website is not online, but probably that your template renders some JS errors
