on your screenshot we can see the title in orange
then the navigation is set on NO in your website.

yes, the title shows, but does not work as a link to the article (it does pull the title and intro text though)
I thought it was supposed to be a clickable link? (the read more didn't work either
I will now change the settings to show the navigation and also have the Read More as a link, not the title..still it does not link

you can not click it because you have set the slideshow as background, then it is UNDER all other objects in the page, you think that you are over the slideshow but in fact you are over another block into your template.
This is not a slideshow issue, just a general problem to be fixed into your template
