I need to change the Jquery slightly to make the accordion menu act more like I need it to. I would like to change it to a mouse over expand / mouse out collapse. on the whole menu:

It currently expands when you mouse over the ul at the top and collapses when you mouse over it again.

need it to act more like this simple example of a accordion menu:
jsfiddle.net/ss8vD/

jsfiddle.net/ss8vD/

I know this is possible I just don't want to look at a j query script for several days trying to figure this out on my own.

Any suggestions?

Hi
I'm not a development center :)
if you want to use the accordion menu ck you can use it, but I can not spend my time to help you in developping another script.
Your code has nothing to do with the one that I have developped for my module

It is not my code it's an example of how I would like it to work!

IDK why it would be: hover ul add class .open hover ul if has class .open remove class.

Instead of: mouse over open, mouse out close.

I don't see how its current hover state effective, it makes it jumpy and hard to use.

I'm just gonna switch it to click anyways and be done with it because of the inconsistencies with mobile devices.

And I didn't say i was not going to use it. For the most part its a great module extension.

THANK YOU: CED!!!

the problem with the "accordion" function into jquery is that it is limited (for my needs), I have tested it but it is not for me :)
