Hi Cédric, hi all,
How to style the articles "details" area ?
I would like a single line instead of several different lines.
Also, I'd like to remove the words : "details", "written", and "published".
In the end, this would display like : By John Doe, on November 4, 2015
Thanks !
Adrien
PS : This post on the forum asks the same thing, but didnt go thru.

Hi
in template creator you can style this, I mean that you can apply some styles to it (color, size, etc)
If you want to change the layout (horizontal align and more) you must
1/ add some custom css (you can add them in parameters >> custom css)
or
2/ override the layout of the component using the html folder (not a feature of template creator)
to hide some details you can choose what you want in the settings of your article or menu link options

I really dont see how to use CSS to achieve the target design I described above...
On this page :
pixelmarketing.net/en/english/blog/
I may use CSS to display inline elements, but I can't see how to remove specific words like "published".
I'm bent on using layout override, though I dont read Php..
Thanks,
Adrien

you can align them with display: inline-block; but you will not be able to remove the words

Sure, thanks.
I understand this is kind of outside the scope of TC, so I just headed to the Joomla forum.
