Hi Ced,
the new JoomlaCK Translations Website is working fine for me!

That changes are applied immediately and are ready for download after saving is very cool!
A seamless pleasure I would say.

1 / What I miss!
A search function for strings or words within an extention folder's ini-files.

2 / In Documentation
3 unhappy Links, try and see

under How to download
1 x list at the homepage

under How to translate & under How to register
2 x in the list

Have a nice weekend!

Regards,
Heino

Hi Ced,
You're right, I was a bit brisk in my zeal, it's not necessary to search for strings! It's enough to see the strings when editing.
I like the strings when communicating, it's clearer.

But a search for words in the ini files of an extension folder would still be nice.
To search for special or same words....
On Transifex I could display and edit all files at once and search for special words.

If someone has a lot to translate and becomes more aware of the expressions while translating, he will want to change certain words or expressions afterwards.
This is where searching in files is a great thing.

*Maybe the search for words can show the result ini files, next to it an edit button (with 1 checkbox for all, whether to edit in same or new windows).

I think it's great that you manage the translation environment yourself, with an eye on the essentials.
And I hope some users will enjoy the experience of translating a software into their own language, now in real time...!
That's genius!

What do you think about the "Search for words in files"? Is it heavy to implement?*

Regards,
Heino

for info the point 2/ has been fixed
for the searching feature, you can also use CTRL+F to search directly in the page using the browser :)

Good morning Ced!
is there a special reason that the HTML is removed for the translations?

e.g. Original:
Code:
COPY<br /><span style="_QQ_"font-size:10px;line-height:10px;display:block;"_QQ_">all CSS</span>

Translation:
Code:
Kopiere alle CSS

Some contain links that then disappear...

Have a nice day!

Hi
yes this is normal, I decided to update all my files to remove the html because it shall be rendered in the code, not in the translation

I know that it can cause some glitches, hoping that they will be fixed over the time
