Image Gallery Element was created by dude_in_ohio
How do you get the lightbox to work when you add an image gallery element? It looks like the lightbox options are enabled by default.
Thanks,

Hi
not sure to understand ... is the problem related to a gallery, or to an image added in the page ?
do you have some problem to add the Lightbox on the image ?

Hi Dude & Ced,
if I understand and comprehend correctly:
I drag an “Image Gallery” element into the row.
Edit element --> Options
Fact: The lightbox is set to OFF by default.
If I use the gallery from the template and switch the lightbox ON in the options, the lightbox does NOT (yet) open in the frontend.
If I: Edit element --> “Edit Image Gallery” ,
there is the image url, filled with “plugins/pagebuilderck/gallery/assets/images/slides/gallery1.jpg”
Now I fill the same for Url link “plugins/pagebuilderck/gallery/assets/images/slides/gallery1.jpg”
...and the lightbox opens in Frontend.
I use it like this:
Image url = preview image
Url link = View large image
Regards,
Heino

That works for the lightbox. Thanks Heino!
The other problem is whenever I save the images in the article, the images are not longer seen in the editor preview. They appear on the front end but not in the page builder.
Not the end of the world but it would be nice if that didn't happen.
Thanks,
PR

Hi Dude & Ced,I have done a test and must confirm that:
- if I select “Folder” as the source of the images, no images from this folder are loaded or displayed in the backend
- consequently there is no possibility to label or organize images etc.
PS Unfortunately I am still on PBCK version 3.4.1...

Heino

Hi
that's right, but you can use the "labels.txt" file to do that in the images folder
same as for Mediabox CK , or Slideshow CK :
www.joomlack.fr/en/documentation/mediabo...file-for-your-images
