OK, this forced me think deeperly.
I've run several tests and realized that the problem was composed of different factors.
First: memory management by the browser. Sometimes cleaning the cache (both backend and frontend) is not enough. I have to clean all data but cookies, and then access the site in private (or anonymous) mode. Then some errors don't arise. I'm going to kill someone...
Second: conflict with Module Anywhere by Regular Labs. The strange error message in the frontend that I showed some post ago, appears only if the module has been recalled by Module Anywhere. If I recall it by the regular syntax of Joomla (loadposition} the module works well and no error appears. Also, the Send button shows the custom label defined by me.
Third: new version of fields.js file does not work. If I use it, no fields appear in the Contact Form Edition panel neither the Add a field button works. I had to revert to the original file.

So, this is the situation.

• Strange error message appearing: worked around using Joomla {loadposition} instead of Regular Labs Module Anywhere.
• Send button not showing my customized string: worked around using Joomla {loadposition} instead of Regular Labs Module Anywhere.
• Content vanished after made hidden: fixed. I don't know what fixed it (maybe 2.4.1)
• List field values vanishing when modifying anything of the module and re-saving it: NOT fixed. After each editing operation on the module, I have to define again the values

This is not a perfect world, but I can work. If you could solve the unfixed issue, I'd be grateful.

I have made test (again) by my side with a module + contact form, created a custo field, saved the module. And it works

Please give me an admin access by email, and tell me which module is in cause to check that

Yes, after just having been created. it works.
It does not work any longer after something in the module has been modified.
Check this:

1. In the PageBuilder CK module put a Contact element on the row
2. In the Contact Form Edition panel add a List field with two values
3. Save de module and close it
4. Reopen the module
5. Modify the Contact element, modify whatever you want (the text of the Send button is a good choice)
6. Save the module
7. [The List field lose its values/li]
