How do I build a Horizontal, Centered, Responsive Menu in Joomla 4 Cassiopeia with a with a white background in the standard Joomla 4 site template.
None of my changes in the Menu Builder do this.

Ah yes, Maximenu CK.
wildfarmlands.org. You will see it the way I roughly want it to look. I ended up using the menu feature of JoomShaper Helix Ultimate because I couldn't make it work otherwise. I have another set of problems using the Helix Ultimate menu feature, so I would much rather use Maximenu. I cannot take the site offline, so I would prefer a step-by-step or we'll need to schedule a time to do this late in the evening local time. Thank you in advance.

ok, here is what you can do :
- publish the maximenu module in the menu position and set it to be accessed by registered users only (or higher group)
- create an account for me with the needed rights, so that I can login in the front to see the maximenu module, and other users won't see it.
This way we can work together on fixing the issue without disturbing your page

thanks
I have removed the access data because you shall not put it publicly
I have checked the menu and it looks like the styling interfarce. I have added a custom css rule to center it in the template
