I am trying to get the same effect (box around it) as this photo that says "Latest News" on this page www.aswm.org/aswm_1_test/index.php

I am trying to play with the settings in the components but having no luck.

what you can do is to combine the effect and your style
1/ in the list select the effect that you want
2/ edit the code and add manually the css class like "effectck-X" where X is the ID of your style, example :
