Accepting all cookies doesn't refresh page was created by sarahhayesuk
I have a client who insists on having a background YouTube image automatically playing on there home page. I'd like to block the video until the user accepts all cookies, but currently, when the accept all cookies button is clicked, the page doesn't automatically refresh and the YouTube message that the content couldn't be loaded remains. I do have the refresh option enabled.
If you manually refresh the page, or go into customise and accept all cookies and save, that does refresh the page and the video plays, but visitors aren't going to work that out.
Am I doing something wrong? I'm currently using the free version. Does the pro version work differently?

Hi,
I installed 3.3.1, but it couldn't find any cookies when scanning. Uninstalled and installed 3.3.0 and cookies were found.
I only have session cookie and Google reCaptcha.
Another issue that I am having is CookieCK is effecting web.dev measure results
Without CookiesCK home page scores 90 / 100 / 100 / 100
With CookiesCK enabled home page scores 89 / 100 / 100 / 85
I appreciate any cookie plugin will effect performance and I can live with that, but the SEO score is reduced by 15.
The SEO score is reduced because the Accept, Decline and Customise links aren't crawlable and the Privacy/Cookie Policy doesn't have any descriptive text.
Is it possible to do anything about this?
Sorry to be a pain!
Thank you
Sarah
